Return from Camp: Organize a pick-up with your carrier. Call the camp office to advise the date of pick up, tracking number and send shipping labels if necessary.
Reminder: Campers need to be in uniform on the bus/plane to camp. We do NOT permit luggage to be driven to camp.
Communication with Camp
[Summer Communication]
Telephone
• We have two scheduled phone calls during the summer for our campers to call home. Please refer to the phone schedules which will be emailed in June. If you will be unavailable to take a scheduled call, please call the camp office to schedule an alternative date.
• We are more than happy to speak with you about your child’s progress at camp. You may call camp anytime to speak to a Director or Grouphead. Please understand that the person you are looking for may be at an activity with the campers, in which case you will be able to leave a message for them in their voicemail and they will get back to you within 24 hours.
• Prior to the start of camp, each family will have a call with their child’s Grouphead to introduce him/herself and discuss any important issues. While this call is important for all Lower Camp families, we encourage our Upper Camp families to speak with their Grouphead as well. New camper families will receive a call from our Camp Leadership within 24hrs of your child’s arrival.
• The week before camp begins, our nursing staff arrive to set up the health centers and review camper health records. They will only contact you if after reviewing your child’s records they have any questions.
Please Note: Our main summer office is open from 8AM to 9PM. We have an answering service when the office is closed, and in emergency situations they are always able to contact the camp.
